2014: God is Faithful!!

Here is a look back on my 2014!! It has been such an adventure with many ups and downs. God has been there through it all and I want to thank the people who have walked with me and supported me this past year!!

I began the year in beautiful Australia. I was Staffing at ywam Brisbane and had no idea what was going to happen and what God was going to do!!

I was Baptized in the Pacific ocean in one of my favorite places, Redcliffe. I felt God in such a beautiful way that day and I haven't been the same since!! 



After praying and preparing, the Discipleship training schools finally began in February. I was staffing on a school specifically focused to discover more of God in the arts and glorifying Him with our gifts. New students, new testimonies of God's faithfulness, new places to serve, however the same amazing God!!



I Co-lead a team to England and Norway in June and July. It was an awesome time of serving with our brothers and sisters in the UK and Scandinavia. I learned a lot and we as a team learned about what being a family could look like and how together we can grow in our faith.


After coming home from Outreach we graduated our Dts and I graduated from the Basic Leadership School. I looked back at my commitment to Brisbane and was amazed at what God had done in me and through me over the 20 months in Australia!!


In September I flew to the US of A to spend time with my family and friends and started planning for the future. I have been able to be involved in my churches youth group and worship team and help with other ministries as well. I ended 2014 with hope for the new year and knowing God is bigger then me and He has everything in His hands.


So, 2015. I have plans, God may have different ones, but I want to be ready to say yes to whatever He brings my way. I want to get to know God more, see beautiful examples of heaven on earth, encourage those around me, live abundantly and in freedom. I want to love people extravagantly and except God's love for me. I want to read books, drink good coffee, celebrate everything, and take risks that prove God is the boss. I want to worship fiercely and walk humbly. I want to hunger for truth and punch lies in the face. I want to do all this hand in hand with Jesus and have a thankful heart every step of the way.

Airlie Beach

Hello there, sorry about taking forever to update!! So last week I went on a 16 hour road trip (not including the stops and such) to Airlie Beach. Its this Beautiful location right on the ocean and a group of about 20 people from my DTS went there to help with schoolies. Schoolies is a big party after the Australians graduate High school. Its a big celebration put on by the government that not only involves theme parties and loud music but also drinking, drugs, abuse, and even deaths. During these weeks of partying students get into about everything imaginable. My team went into this environment with the intention of simply loving these young people and showing them we cared. 3 Weeks to Go!!

Greeting from Michigan!! I have 3 weeks to go until I am required to be in Pemba, Mozambique! I have no idea what to think or feel, but I am definitely excited and also facing a lot of the unknown. I miss being in the ywam Gold Coast community very much, but i know that God has a plan bigger and better then mine. So I am proclaiming in Faith that I will be in Africa in a few weeks! As of right now I do not have enough funds to get flights or apply for a visa, but God is providing in different ways and I hope to have flights by the end of the week and a my visa application in the mail. Friends || Faithfulness || Flights

Over the last 2 months I have had many ups and downs as I have been in transition. A transition from Africa to America. A transition from 2015 to 2016. A transition from who I was to who I am now, and finally, a transition from Michigan to the Gold Coast. God has been incredible faithful to not only come through with all I needed for flights to Australia, but also in giving me extra time to spend with friends and family. He has used things that I thought were negative and has blessed me. Leading up to this week I thought, "how is this going to happen?". I was short the funds needed, and the longer I waited to leave, the less time I would have to help in prepping for the School of Worship. However I kept believing that God would do what He said.
