Oceans Calling

Hey there, So after the week in Airlie there was a week on Spiritual Warfare and then a week of Father Heart of God. Both weeks were amazing!!! Spiritual warfare is something I really didn't know much about and it is something I have a bit of a hard time understanding, but it is very real and so powerful. We have so much authority against Satin and it goes unrecognized and that isn't good. Father Heart of God week made me really begin to appreciate my dad, and the rest of my family, and also it gave me a clearer perspective in seeing God as my father and daddy. Then a very cool guy named Mark Parker from New Zealand came and helped us really surrender ourselves to God and the Holy Spirit. He spoke all week on Lordship. Then Friday we began at 8:30 in the morning and all together experienced an amazing transformation till 2:30ish in the morning on Saturday. We went through different steps as a school and did different things like giving thanks, worshiping, giving burnt offeri

Hello there, sorry about taking forever to update!! So last week I went on a 16 hour road trip (not including the stops and such) to Airlie Beach. Its this Beautiful location right on the ocean and a group of about 20 people from my DTS went there to help with schoolies. Schoolies is a big party after the Australians graduate High school. Its a big celebration put on by the government that not only involves theme parties and loud music but also drinking, drugs, abuse, and even deaths. During these weeks of partying students get into about everything imaginable. My team went into this environment with the intention of simply loving these young people and showing them we cared. We set up what was called the chai tent. it was a big tent, and inside we set up little tables with pillows around them and we served free slushies and chai tea. Hey everyone :) I hope everyone is enjoying there week!!! It is Monday and today is the last day to figure out where we are going on outreach. the past week has been so crazy and amazing and God is so Fantastic!!! here are the outreach locations in which we were given. our job has been to listen to God and ask Him where He wants to send us. It is crazy how He speaks to everyine in differant ways and at differant times!!! 1) Russia 2) Germany 3) Australia 4) Peru 5) Japan and Saipan 6) India we give our location to Jason, our school leader, and He prays about it and lets us know if we need to pray more or not :) Next week we are going to Byron Bay and Airlie Beach for a thing called schoolies. ( its kind of like party Hard spring break gone wild in the US. ) We are working with an organizatioin called red frogs and other people to evangelize to all those partaking in this crazy time. our goal is to not only spred the love of God and bring people to Him, but also prevent suisid

hey there. so this is week 2, almost complete. Our lectures are on hearing the voice of God, and they are great!! They are really chalanging and i have been learning so so sooo much about God and myself. We also Have been given our outreach locations. . . . but im not going to tell you till maybe tomorrow. I have to do some praying first. It is amazing to hear how some people are already so close with God and I cant wait to be there but i know I need to just wait for Him. After all, He has been waiting for me for 19 years. Thank you to everyone who continues to support me and Pray for me. have a great day!!

Hey yall, So we have started our lectures and they are pretty cool but there is a lot of sitting. We also started to look into our focuses today and I decided to go with Music. it is going to be interesting because I was placed in a small group with more of an acustic setting. I think it will be good for me and something differant then what I am used to, but i definatly wasnt expecting it. I will probably be playing more djembe and maybe sing instead of drum set. I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me through this and I am trying to have a positive outlook on it.

  Hey there! so I made it finally to my new home after about 30 hours of insanity. Thanks so much for all your prayers and support and i am excited for what God will do in my life this next 6 months. Its beautiful here and i have already seen some cool little creatures, including a little lizard on the wall in my room. Its going to be a crazy time and i will try to update what is going on often. I miss you Michigan!!

A very big thanks to the people who cam eout on the 15th to support me at the fundraiser!!! In one week from now i will be in the Chicago airport getting ready to leave. This last week is going to be pretty crazy, but with God's help and the help of some friends, it will go smoothly and i wont forget anything :) Thank you for all of the donations and prayers!! I beleive that i can now leave knowing that People will continue to support me and my dear mother will be just fine sending me out. She is a little stressed. So now its on to the packing and last minute purchases of anything I may need in the next 6 months.

Hey everyone! I am leaving in two weeks, on the 24th of October. On the 15th, which is this coming Saturday, I am having a Fundraiser and Send off at Overisel Reformed Church. I just bought my plane ticket this morning. I leave on October 24, which is a month away!!! I am planning a very cool fundraiser on the 15th of October, so dont be busy. Also i have about 2 more weeks of work and then i will be done. everything is so crazy right now but it is in God's hands. i will let you know the details for my flight when it gets closer!! and i will tell you details about the 15th. hey everyone :) things are coming together!!!! I'm pretty much done with all the crazy stuff that would make it ok for me to go. The Visa is in proses, they have my blue card, and i just got some very cool black and whiter pock a-dot luggage yesterday :) we still have to get my plane ticket but it will happen soon. I think im only getting a one way ticket so im not 100 present i will be home in May. things happen. right now i am working on a really cool painting to sell and i am planning a fundraiser event for probably the second week of October. it will be a goodbye thing and a way for me to raise funds!! im going to be buying a laptop soon so i can use it for school and to keep connected with all of you fine people. I have 40 something days left here in the states and i have so many little things to sort out but it will all come together. God is sooo good!!!! have a great day!

I applied for my Visa and am kind of wondering exactly what it is because it cost a lot :) Also, I am sending out support letters so let me know if you want one sent to you!!!! Praise God for my job and all the good people who continue to encourage me!!!

I am now home from the mission trip to Alaska. It was amazing :)  I miss it so much!!!! It has made me even more excited for Australia!! God is sooo GOOD!!!! I LOVE HIM!!!! I have learned a lot about how in order to have a relationship with Him we need to Trust Him. The second we as people feel worried or afraid, that is when we stop trusting God. I also learned on this trip that I have what it takes to be a leader for God, I just need His help. He blesses us so much!! I was reminded of this going back to work today and getting a super pay check!! I am getting even closer to getting enough money to go in the fall!!! Tomorrow morning I am leaving for a mission trip to Alaska that will last about 10 days. When I get back i will be working on sending out a letter about how people can support me by sending money and also saying a lot of prayers. If you have any questions let me know!!

Hey everyone. this is just the beginning.
