SOW: Week 1

Image
Hello everyone! Week 1 of the School of Worship has been really amazing. God continues to confirm that this is where I am meant to be. God has revealed to me more how worship is important for me to pursue in this season and that it is a foundation for the rest of my life. I going to learn so much in the next few months! One awesome opportunity is that I am going to be learning more about playing the guitar in worship and song writing. Also, we are having people come in every week to share on their experiences and revelations. We are also using resources from Bethel Church and the Eighteen Inch Journey to find deeper intimacy with God and to be inspired to create. Here at ywam Gold Coast they are also just beginning a Dts this week. I love having these students here who are about to go on such an amazing adventure with God. I am blessed that after being involved in ywam for these few years I have seen so much freedom and breakthrough when young people have said yes to God!!

G'Day from Australia!! I made it to Australia after traveling for over 24 hours! God gave me so much favor and grace. I had a delay in GR and so I was able to spend a little bit more time with my family and less time in Dallas where I had a lay over. I was able to sleep a few hours on my 15 hour flight to Sydney, and I had just enough Australian change to get a coffee. All my bags made it and I have been feeling great. I have been tired during the afternoons, but I have been sleeping through the night and for the first time I am haven't come down with an illness after traveling!! SO good.    Perspective changes, God doesn't! Michigan and Sydney So much is different here at the Gold coast compared to Brisbane, but God has been faithful. today was our first day for School of worship and God has confirmed without a question that this is exactly where I am meant to be! I am so incredibly encouraged. Being staff on ywam schools I am used to hearing Go

Some will Go, Some will Send

As a young missionary, I have a lot to learn about how to communicate my mission well. I desire for people who support me to understand that they are making an impact. I want to share testimonies of God's goodness and answers to prayer. I want to be honest and show people that it is by God's grace in my weakness that amazing things happen. But I have found that there are a few challenges I have faced and am learning from, as well as some new truths that I am passionate to share about!! I beleive we are all called to a outward focused life and we have a mission. "And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.   Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,   teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Ma tthew 28:18-20 Now, this is our mission, but I think our callings

I am Alive!

Hey Everyone!! My Updates had to be put on hold the last few days. Last week I suddenly started getting sick and it has been a crazy time balancing preparing to leave and recovering. I am so thankful for God's goodness even in this because I feared a sinus infection of doom and I have slowly gotten better every day rather then worse!! So now the count down is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 Days!!!!!!! I leave Thursday, February 5. I cannot even explain how I feel. I am so excited to learn and grow and be apart of ywam once again. I am beginning to feel the sadness that comes with leaving, but even in that God has given me peace. So the packing begins. I have bags of random things everywhere from doing some last minute shopping. Socks, toothpaste, snacks and travel size bottles of everything! I have been so blessed by those who are supporting me, by my church, my friends, and parents. I will keep you posted on how the week is going and some things God has put on my heart
