a lovely little update :)
Hey there,
So after the week in Airlie there was a week on Spiritual Warfare and then a week of Father Heart of God. Both weeks were amazing!!! Spiritual warfare is something I really didn't know much about and it is something I have a bit of a hard time understanding, but it is very real and so powerful. We have so much authority against Satin and it goes unrecognized and that isn't good. Father Heart of God week made me really begin to appreciate my dad, and the rest of my family, and also it gave me a clearer perspective in seeing God as my father and daddy.
Then a very cool guy named Mark Parker from New Zealand came and helped us really surrender ourselves to God and the Holy Spirit. He spoke all week on Lordship. Then Friday we began at 8:30 in the morning and all together experienced an amazing transformation till 2:30ish in the morning on Saturday. We went through different steps as a school and did different things like giving thanks, worshiping, giving burnt offerings and sin offerings, praying, prophesying, speaking in tongues, Communion, and experiencing freedom from past things. It was amazing. God is so so so big and so good.
Now there is Peru. My team is made of 10, Madison, Cory, Nick, Anna, Anke, Katrina, Eva, Alina, Jess, and me. We represent 7 different nationalities i believe. We will be staying in the Jungle for about 4 weeks working with A family of one of the staff here. Her Parents have adopted about 50 children and are working on building a new house. We will be helping them build and do other things. They are amazing people and i cant wait to meet them!!! Then we will work our way up into the mountains to Cuzco. There is a family of 5 hosting us there. We will be helping at an orphanage there and also do other things dealing with ministry and spreading the love of God. We will be gone for about 7 weeks.
Things you could pray for. . . . .
- For both the families we will be working with, specifically the parents, Joy and Jordan, and Bud and Laura.
- For the finances of my team. We want to get out tickets before Christmas. That is soon. Pray that enough money will come in and that we will be able to get decent tickets. it will be around 2, 500 for each person just for our airfare and God is providing.
- For Our school. We just had a very Spiritual High and after that happens people can sometimes face difficulties. I ask you pray for our Staff and our students. That people will not be afraid to use the authority they have been given by God to fight against sin and the devil. Also pray for our attitudes to be fantastic and that we can be loving towards others and ourselves.
- Please pray for everyone as Christmas is almost here. That people don't forget what the meaning of the Day is.
