Hit the Ground Running!!

Image
G'Day from Australia!! New Home on the Goldie! God is faithful and I arrived safely to the Gold Coast with all my luggage and body parts. What a roller coaster it has been. I arrived just over a week ago and have settled into my new home. I have hit the ground running. My first day back I had enough time to shower before I was already in worship practice for the base and then tagged teaming in a teaching with the Current Discipleship Training School. It is amazing that God uses you even when you are exhausted and haven't slept in 2 days! I have also spent time prepping for the School of Worship, which will begin in 2 weeks!! We are praying into our speakers, students, outreach, and seeking God for His heart for this season. We are filled with faith and believing for God to pour out like never before! We are taking this City for Jesus! Please pray with us for more students and for grace in all the preparation that goes into running a SOW. Pray those who are meant t...

Friends || Faithfulness || Flights

Image
Over the last 2 months I have had many ups and downs as I have been in transition. A transition from Africa to America. A transition from 2015 to 2016. A transition from who I was to who I am now, and finally, a transition from Michigan to the Gold Coast. God has been incredible faithful to not only come through with all I needed for flights to Australia, but also in giving me extra time to spend with friends and family. He has used things that I thought were negative and has blessed me. Leading up to this week I thought, "how is this going to happen?". I was short the funds needed, and the longer I waited to leave, the less time I would have to help in prepping for the School of Worship. However I kept believing that God would do what He said. On the weekend, I saw God provide supernaturally through people in a beautiful way. I was able to find really great flights and also be prayed out by my home church. I am humbled and in awe of God's loving kindness and the supp...

Hungry and Heading Out Soon!

Image
Now that February has arrived, life is getting real for this kid!! In 2 weeks I hope to be in Australia. As I prepare to once again move half way around the world, I have a lot on my mind. Legalistically, I feel I am taking steps both forwards and back. I am not able to get the visa I was hoping for before I go, so I have a 3 month tourist visa. Please pray that I am able to get my 2 year visa before the 3 months are up. I am however getting closer to covering the cost of flights to the Gold Coast!! I am so thankful to those who have been praying and giving. If you would like to give, click on the "Give A Donation" tab at the top of the page. All this being said, God is so good. I believe that God is going to pour out His spirit in an amazing way through this School of Worship and in Australia. When I was in Mozambique, God had me in a process of learning what Hunger for Him can look like. He planted a seed while I was in New Zealand on an outreach months before. I was sp...

Give. . . . Send. . . . Go!!!

As I continue to learn how to make giving easy for those who want to be involved missions, I have found many options. While sharing more about my next 2 years in Australia, GiveSendGo was brought to my attention. It is similar to gofundme, but they have a special focus on Christian missions. I have launched a campaign through their sight and have added the Link in my "Give A Donation" tab  the top of my blog!! Check it out, such an easy way to give and see updates!! I am hoping to be in Australia within the next 3 weeks!I am so excited to be back in ministry and to see God move on the Gold Coast! Click to Visit my GiveSendGo Page!! Please be praying for me!! I still am in the process of getting Visa and Flights. God is good and He will be faithful to bring me where He has called me! Have a great weekend! Lindsey

Paperwork Can't Steal the Promise!!

As I prepare to move back to Australia once again, each week has what feels like new hurdles I have to jump over. "One thing" on my to-do list seems to have 15 bullet points underneath that must happen before that "one thing" can actually be crossed off. Reading government paperwork is like trying to read another language. When you are in a season of waiting, it can be easy to loose perspective.  I was listening to a teaching the other day about a perspective of victory. If God is God, and what He says is truth, we should be able to take on any situation with His promises being what we dwell on. If I begin with the end in mind, knowing God spoke certain things to me, I can focus on those things. When it feels like nothing is happening or the struggle seems overpowering, I live from a place of victory. What I will receive in faith through the process is greater then the intimidation of the enemy in the tension. It is easier to say then to actually apply, but Jesus ...

Don't Shy from the Light

Something I am reminded of more and more every day is my need for Jesus. We all have our struggles and I have learned that when the world comes with all its hardship and questions, we have 2 options. Run towards Jesus or run away from Jesus. Now I do not want to downplay the struggles you may have faced. However, I know the truth that our circumstances do not define who God is and the devil would love to tell you differently. He would love for you to allow hardship to make you run, isolate yourself, loose hope and believe a lie about God. But God has shown me through walking through my own hardships, that I have a choice. I can choose to run towards God and ask for help and let him into my heart and situation. When I was in Mozambique, I received a lot of breakthrough in my life, but only after weeks of feeling overwhelmed and broken. I was waiting for God to answer my questions and facing many fears and lies. I had many situations where I wanted give up or to call it quits. My s...
