Oceans Calling

Hello Everyone!! Here is an update that covers the end of our overseas outreach and what is happening now! Our last location in England was the City of Exeter. We worked with a church there who had an incredible heart for reaching their city with the love of God. Every day we would meet together with the church pastor and pray before going out and evangelizing in the different areas of the city. We would do what is called a treasure hunt, where we ask God for clues that we can look for while we go. Sometimes we would get pictures, locations, names, colours, or other clues. Than we would share with each other and then go out in teams. It was amazing to see God’s faithfulness in our time there. I had heard so many testimonies of God healing and giving words of knowledge for people, and this was a time where those testimonies became our team’s reality. Hello Beautiful People! We are going into week 7 of our 8 week Outreach for the Discipleship Training School. I have been updating Facebook, so some of this you may already know. However, for the rest of you, I want to give a run down on what our team has been up to over the last 6 weeks! We are a team of four, Nick is my Australian Co-leader, Rodney is our Australian Student. Then we have Lindsey from New Hampshire, and me. Having 2 Lindseys makes introductions hilarious for us because people can't figure out if we are crazy, or if they are. So week one was very challenging at first because of our finances. We had wanted to leave for the UK early in the week, but we couldn't. Our team decided to stay in Brisbane and help there with our local outreach team and for Global Outreach Day (G.O.D). So during the week we did G.O.D. prep, school lunch programs, sports with the community, kids ministry, yard work around our neighborhood, and saw God provide $10,000 in about 5 days. ...

Team Australia/England/Norway Hey Everyone!! I haven't updated my page here as much as I update my Facebook page, but a lot has happened in the last month. The lecture phase of the DTS came to a finish with a final project week and also a lot of outreach prep. Outreach teams are beginning to leave for their locations. Our Sports DTS has teams currently in Brazil for the world cup, and also a team in Scotland. Our MAD DTS had a team leave this weekend who are traveling around Australia to country towns and costal cities to share God's love. Our team was planning on leaving this coming week, but because of finances we are waiting another week before heading to England and Norway. While here we will serve more locally and hopefully go into schools, prep for Global Outreach Day on the 14th, and other things. Please be praying for our teams finances! Gree tings from YWAM Brisbane, Australia! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and were able to celebrate God’s amazing victory and goodness. Over Easter our base, along with many others contributed around 200 young people to volunteer at Easterfest this year. Easterfest is a huge Christian Music Festival here in Australia in which is dedicated to reaching out with the truth of the gospel and Easter message. I was able to pray for so many amazing people over the Easter weekend, it was amazing! Some people were looking into doing a DTS and I was able to share my testimony with them. Other people were struggling with eating disorders, illness, past abuse, suicide and other things. To speak God’s truth into all those situations makes being here such a blessing and gift. As we keep getting closer and closer to June and overseas outreach time, I have a few updates on the process and some prayer requests. Teaching on the DTS about Spiritual Disciplines 

Hello from Australia!! The last month has been incredible. God has been doing so much in and through our Y WAM Base here in Brisbane and in my life personally. Our Discipleship Training Schools that began in February are already almost halfway through their lecture phase and know their outreach locations and teams. We are sending teams to Peru, Malaysia, Brazil, Scotland, Russia, India, Saipan and Guam, around Australia, and I am Co-leading a team to England. So there is a lot of preparation happening at this time with finding contacts, making budgets and getting to know our teams, but God is working in great ways! A few weeks ago my school road tripped to New Castle, Australia, for a week long evangelism conference called Circuit Riders. Other bases from around Australia also made the trek and we all came together to learn more about God’s heart for the lost. We discovered how we can live a life of joyful repentance, with hearts that will never take offense, intimacy with God...

Hey Everybody!! Welcome to the month of March. I can't believe we are here already. The last month has flown by and has brought many challenges but also so much hope. As a YWAM Base we are continuously moving and growing. In the last month we sent outreach teams to various locations and also graduated a Discipleship Training School and commissioned them on home. We have stood together and prayed for places like Syria, Ukraine, and North Korea. Our Production Company has almost completed their first full length feature film called "The Umbrella", and 3 new DTSs have begun. a DTS, or a Discipleship Training School, is a 6 month program where people from all around the world come and live in community and pursue God together. They have 3 months of lectures and then 3 months or local and global Outreach.
