New beginings

Hey Everybody!!

Welcome to the month of March. I can't believe we are here already. The last month has flown by and has brought many challenges but also so much hope. As a YWAM Base we are continuously moving and growing. In the last month we sent outreach teams to various locations and also graduated a Discipleship Training School and commissioned them on home. We have stood together and prayed for places like Syria, Ukraine, and North Korea. Our Production Company has almost completed their first full length feature film called "The Umbrella", and 3 new DTSs have begun. a DTS, or a Discipleship Training School, is a 6 month program where people from all around the world come and live in community and pursue God together. They have 3 months of lectures and then 3 months or local and global Outreach. Mid February began the Beach 2 Bush DTS, which is a traveling school who focuses on serving country towns and beach towns. 2nd is the Sports DTS which focuses on using Sport as a ministry to reach people and share God's heart. 3rd is the Creative DTS called MAD, which is the school I am a part of staffing on. We use the arts such as music, art, dance, photography, and film to pursue God, evangelize, and change the way creativity is used in society.

Our lecture weeks have begun and we have had awesome people come and share about God's Character and Nature, hearing God's voice, and the amazing power of prayer. Soon we will begin learning more about evangelism and will know where our overseas outreaches will be. Preparing for the school has been challenging and a lot of work, but it is amazing to now have the students here and to already have them share revelations God is giving them and the things they are trusting Him with for the first time.

I am excited for these next few months as the school continues. I would also like to ask for your continual support in prayer as I am moving into new things and am leading a new group of people with a new team. Also that I will have wisdom and joy in responding to what God is doing.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support. I am blessed to be doing what I am, and to have people supporting me in that. Also, a huge thanks to all who helped and gave at the Wednesday night fundraiser dinner a few weeks ago at ORC. I cannot even explain how humbled and honored I am to be part of my home church.

Love,
Lindsey
