Outreach Update!! Australia/England/Norway!!!

Greetings from YWAM Brisbane, Australia!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and were able to celebrate God’s amazing victory and goodness. Over Easter our base, along with many others contributed around 200 young people to volunteer at Easterfest this year. Easterfest is a huge Christian Music Festival here in Australia in which is dedicated to reaching out with the truth of the gospel and Easter message. I was able to pray for so many amazing people over the Easter weekend, it was amazing! Some people were looking into doing a DTS and I was able to share my testimony with them. Other people were struggling with eating disorders, illness, past abuse, suicide and other things. To speak God’s truth into all those situations makes being here such a blessing and gift.

As we keep getting closer and closer to June and overseas outreach time, I have a few updates on the process and some prayer requests. My Co-leader Nick and I are leading a team to England and Norway for 8 weeks. It has been a battle finding contacts and ministry options, but at the same time I am gaining such a heart for the western world that I didn’t have before. Do to different reasons our team is now 4 people rather then 5, but 4 people who are ready to serve and share God's heart. We know for sure that in Norway we are going to be serving at another Christian music festival for 2 weeks. In England we will be partnering with YWAM Bases and Churches. We hope to help in encouraging the long term missionaries there and serve the body of Christ, but also reach the lost and evangelize in the streets. running camps and youth groups, homeless ministry, church outreaches, creative evangelism, mini DTSs and heaps of other opportunities as well. Our heart is to share on The Father heart of God, Biblical foundations, the value of family, and what it looks like to have intimacy in your relationship with God and excellence in your life.


That being said we first have to get there!! As a team we need about $20,000 all together to all go on outreach. My personal need is $2,500. We are unable to buy tickets yet but will hopefully see enough come in next week to move forward with that. Please be fighting in prayer for our teams finances. We know God is the Provider and we trust Him!! If you feel you can in any way contribute to what God is doing, please contact me!

Airlie Beach

Hello there, sorry about taking forever to update!! So last week I went on a 16 hour road trip (not including the stops and such) to Airlie Beach. Its this Beautiful location right on the ocean and a group of about 20 people from my DTS went there to help with schoolies. Schoolies is a big party after the Australians graduate High school. Its a big celebration put on by the government that not only involves theme parties and loud music but also drinking, drugs, abuse, and even deaths. During these weeks of partying students get into about everything imaginable. My team went into this environment with the intention of simply loving these young people and showing them we cared. We set up what was called the chai tent. it was a big tent, and inside we set up little tables with pillows around them and we served free slushies and chai tea. 3 Weeks to Go!!

Greeting from Michigan!! I have 3 weeks to go until I am required to be in Pemba, Mozambique! I have no idea what to think or feel, but I am definitely excited and also facing a lot of the unknown. I miss being in the ywam Gold Coast community very much, but i know that God has a plan bigger and better then mine. So I am proclaiming in Faith that I will be in Africa in a few weeks! As of right now I do not have enough funds to get flights or apply for a visa, but God is providing in different ways and I hope to have flights by the end of the week and a my visa application in the mail. a lovely little update :)

Hey there, So after the week in Airlie there was a week on Spiritual Warfare and then a week of Father Heart of God. Both weeks were amazing!!! Spiritual warfare is something I really didn't know much about and it is something I have a bit of a hard time understanding, but it is very real and so powerful. We have so much authority against Satin and it goes unrecognized and that isn't good. Father Heart of God week made me really begin to appreciate my dad, and the rest of my family, and also it gave me a clearer perspective in seeing God as my father and daddy. Then a very cool guy named Mark Parker from New Zealand came and helped us really surrender ourselves to God and the Holy Spirit. He spoke all week on Lordship. Then Friday we began at 8:30 in the morning and all together experienced an amazing transformation till 2:30ish in the morning on Saturday. We went through different steps as a school and did different things like giving thanks, worshiping, giving burnt offeri
