A Big Hello from Australia



Hello from Australia!!
The last month has been incredible. God has been doing so much in and through our YWAM Base here in Brisbane and in my life personally. Our Discipleship Training Schools that began in February are already almost halfway through their lecture phase and know their outreach locations and teams. We are sending teams to Peru, Malaysia, Brazil, Scotland, Russia, India, Saipan and Guam, around Australia, and I am Co-leading a team to England. So there is a lot of preparation happening at this time with finding contacts, making budgets and getting to know our teams, but God is working in great ways!
A few weeks ago my school road tripped to New Castle, Australia, for a week long evangelism conference called Circuit Riders. Other bases from around Australia also made the trek and we all came together to learn more about God’s heart for the lost. We discovered how we can live a life of joyful repentance, with hearts that will never take offense, intimacy with God, and extravagant love. We then would go out to the streets and coast lines to share God’s love and the power of the gospel. It was incredible to see some of our students step out in faith for the first time and pray for healing and for God’s love to impact lives. They also realized the importance of giving all their fears, past experiences, sin, and future dreams to God. There was so much freedom!! Praise the Lord.
After being in New Castle I was given the opportunity to teach for a morning on the DTS. I shared about Spiritual Disciplines in our relationship with God. It was an awesome experience and God was totally there. I shared about my personal revelations and walk with God and how that related to quiet times with God, personal prayer, and personal worship and fasting. Our School also had a 26 hours of worship event and have had more opportunities to serve our local community and in Churches around Australia. Soon our Base will once again be volunteering at Easterfest, one of the biggest Christian music festivals in Australia. Then, before you know it, we will be heading to our outreach locations. So right now many of the students and staff here are waiting in expectancy for God to provide. I want to thank everyone who has supported me financially and in prayer. Airlie Beach

Hello there, sorry about taking forever to update!! So last week I went on a 16 hour road trip (not including the stops and such) to Airlie Beach. Its this Beautiful location right on the ocean and a group of about 20 people from my DTS went there to help with schoolies. Schoolies is a big party after the Australians graduate High school. Its a big celebration put on by the government that not only involves theme parties and loud music but also drinking, drugs, abuse, and even deaths. During these weeks of partying students get into about everything imaginable. My team went into this environment with the intention of simply loving these young people and showing them we cared. We set up what was called the chai tent. it was a big tent, and inside we set up little tables with pillows around them and we served free slushies and chai tea. 3 Weeks to Go!!

Greeting from Michigan!! I have 3 weeks to go until I am required to be in Pemba, Mozambique! I have no idea what to think or feel, but I am definitely excited and also facing a lot of the unknown. I miss being in the ywam Gold Coast community very much, but i know that God has a plan bigger and better then mine. So I am proclaiming in Faith that I will be in Africa in a few weeks! As of right now I do not have enough funds to get flights or apply for a visa, but God is providing in different ways and I hope to have flights by the end of the week and a my visa application in the mail. a lovely little update :)

Hey there, So after the week in Airlie there was a week on Spiritual Warfare and then a week of Father Heart of God. Both weeks were amazing!!! Spiritual warfare is something I really didn't know much about and it is something I have a bit of a hard time understanding, but it is very real and so powerful. We have so much authority against Satin and it goes unrecognized and that isn't good. Father Heart of God week made me really begin to appreciate my dad, and the rest of my family, and also it gave me a clearer perspective in seeing God as my father and daddy. Then a very cool guy named Mark Parker from New Zealand came and helped us really surrender ourselves to God and the Holy Spirit. He spoke all week on Lordship. Then Friday we began at 8:30 in the morning and all together experienced an amazing transformation till 2:30ish in the morning on Saturday. We went through different steps as a school and did different things like giving thanks, worshiping, giving burnt offeri
