6 days to go!

I cannot say it enough, God is faithful!!!! I should probably change the name of my blog to that!!

I checked the mailbox on Friday for my visa and was disheartened at the few small envelopes inside it. No visa. So I went to the house and almost screamed when I saw the big envelope on our kitchen table. Passport inside, perfect visa included. Praise God!!!!

I was also able to pick up my Malaria medication, and get a typhoid fever shot this weekend. God is amazing! I have been home from Australia for a month now and everything has come together with a week still to go before I fly out. God's timing and tangible work in my life is overwhelming.

 I am just one woman. All I have is hope that God will move in impossible ways in order to make happen what He has spoken to me. I don't make safe choices by the worlds standards. I say yes to things God has said before I see the finances, the supplies, the plane tickets or the full picture. But those things do not define my life, God does. He is what I want. I have tasted and I see that the Lord is good. Now i am hungry. Hungry to experience God. Hungry to see salvations, healings, miracles, the kingdom of God invading earth. I don't have a plan B, actually I'm not sure if I really have a plan A. I just know I need God and following Him is better than anything I could plan or create on my own.

I challenge you, if you feel God has spoken something into your life and you have no idea how to make it happen or what to do. . . . GOOD!! Let God be God, trust Him, seek Him, enjoy Him and be obedient even when you have lost control. Maybe you are supposed to bless a neighbor, maybe you are meant to move to Africa. He knows you. He loves you.

Update for the month of Feb!! and weekly Schedule

Hey everyone! Our MAD DTS 2013 began February 13. We have 9 staff and 17 students. Week one of the dts was on the Character and Nature of God. We had our lectures with the Beach 2 Bush and Sports DTSs as well. It was an amazing first week. Last week The MAD school had teachings on Hearing the Voice of God. Jason Salari, who was my DTS school leader, was the speaker. He has amazing communication skills and is a man who lives what He teaches. Pieces of Mozambique

Here are some moments from my life in Mozambique!! Going into villages means there are lots of new friends to spend time with. We sing songs and dance together. We paint their nails and they give us mangoes.  While leaving one of the villages, the locals were singing outside our caravan. So of coarse, being a Mozambican, this little guy started to dance!!! He was so cheeky but he had good moves.  As 250 people from 30 different nations came together for this season with Iris Global, Mozambican pastors from all over the country also came to get training at a Bible School Iris offers. We had so much fun coming together in the presence of God. Mozambicans have so much passion and joy. It is beautiful!! Life looks very different in the cities then in the village. Steps of faith

Part of Worshiping God is testifying what He is doing and give Him the glory for those things. Sometimes this is much easier to do when God has come through and we look back and declare His goodness. But what about when you are in the middle of a challenging situation, how do you testify in the waiting. I don't really know the answer but I think Faith and the Holy Spirit's leading has to do with it. God can give you hope in your situation and His voice gives us what is needed to hold to the vision and persevere through the hard times. So this brings me to what I want to share. I honestly didn't want to make it public that I booked my flights last week. I was afraid. Afraid of what people would think. Afraid of what could happen. Not a good place to be friends.
