Prologue before Chapter 1


If you haven't noticed, my ability to update my blog has hit an all time low. I haven't fallen completely off the earth, but out of the many ways I try to share whats happening in my life, this way has been neglected. But in reality, your life has kept moving, and so has mine. As the new year approaches I have thoughts such as, "Maybe 2017 will be the year my blogging is on point." and "Maybe my New years resolution will include working on my communication skills.".


I look at 2017 as almost a new volume to my life series, a new book waiting to be written. But first comes the Prologue. Designed as an opening to a story, the Prologue establishes the context and gives background details, often some earlier story that ties into the main one, and other miscellaneous information. If you are on my list for email updates or follow me on Facebook, this will be more of a review. I Co-lead a YWAM School of Worship Outreach to the USA this past June/July/August. I had been staffing the School since March through YWAM Gold Coast. After the outreach, I stayed with my family for 2 weeks and then it was back to Australia. After a lot of prayer and processing, I moved from the Gold Coast back to Brisbane, where I first was involved with YWAM and ministry life!! I've been serving in different areas, but look forward to 2017 and committing to more specific ministry.  Updates to come regarding what that will look like, but this is a Prologue, so i will end things there.

 God has provided in so many ways over this past year, or really 5 years in and around YWAM. Peoples love and generosity is what keeps me in missions and overseas. Airlie Beach

Hello there, sorry about taking forever to update!! So last week I went on a 16 hour road trip (not including the stops and such) to Airlie Beach. Its this Beautiful location right on the ocean and a group of about 20 people from my DTS went there to help with schoolies. Schoolies is a big party after the Australians graduate High school. Its a big celebration put on by the government that not only involves theme parties and loud music but also drinking, drugs, abuse, and even deaths. During these weeks of partying students get into about everything imaginable. My team went into this environment with the intention of simply loving these young people and showing them we cared. We set up what was called the chai tent. it was a big tent, and inside we set up little tables with pillows around them and we served free slushies and chai tea. a lovely little update :)

Hey there, So after the week in Airlie there was a week on Spiritual Warfare and then a week of Father Heart of God. Both weeks were amazing!!! Spiritual warfare is something I really didn't know much about and it is something I have a bit of a hard time understanding, but it is very real and so powerful. We have so much authority against Satin and it goes unrecognized and that isn't good. Father Heart of God week made me really begin to appreciate my dad, and the rest of my family, and also it gave me a clearer perspective in seeing God as my father and daddy. Then a very cool guy named Mark Parker from New Zealand came and helped us really surrender ourselves to God and the Holy Spirit. He spoke all week on Lordship. Then Friday we began at 8:30 in the morning and all together experienced an amazing transformation till 2:30ish in the morning on Saturday. We went through different steps as a school and did different things like giving thanks, worshiping, giving burnt offeri

3 Weeks to Go!!

Greeting from Michigan!! I have 3 weeks to go until I am required to be in Pemba, Mozambique! I have no idea what to think or feel, but I am definitely excited and also facing a lot of the unknown. I miss being in the ywam Gold Coast community very much, but i know that God has a plan bigger and better then mine. So I am proclaiming in Faith that I will be in Africa in a few weeks! As of right now I do not have enough funds to get flights or apply for a visa, but God is providing in different ways and I hope to have flights by the end of the week and a my visa application in the mail.
