A Warm Hello from YWAM Gold Coast!!


I have a very exciting announcement!!! We have been praying as school leaders as to where our July/August overseas outreach should be and God has been faithful again to show us what to do!! We are going to the USA!!! God is moving in amazing ways in the states, but also so many have not had a personal encounter with God's love. So many in the States are spiritually starving and do not know God. He is showing us that we are to be apart of what is happening there and I am beyond excited!! I had to lay down my desire to minister in America when God told me to move back to Australia, but He is faithful!!!! 

 As a Worship school we are believing for revival in America and for worship and prayer to pave the way for a outpouring unlike any other we have witnessed!! This past weekend, in Los Angeles, over 100,000 have gathered for Azusa Now 2016. The Churches are coming together and crying out for a outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will bring another awakening in the US, a Jesus movement that will birth revival!! God is calling America back to Him and I am jealous to be apart of it!!! 

The School is going well, our students are leading worship every week, writing songs, learning about God's heart for worship and musicianship, Worshipping in the city and growing in their character. An amazing testimony from the other week happened while worshiping and praying in Surfers Paradise, a place we do evangelism. One of my students and I went to a street of Bars and strip clubs to bring the presence of God. It is one of the highest crime streets in all of the Gold Coast. When we first arrived I felt sick because of the spiritual atmosphere. So we found a bench and started praying and worshipping. After about 15 minutes there was a complete shift in the atmosphere. We felt full of peace and joy and felt God's love for the people in such a sweet way. So we started singing about God's love and grace, that He wanted to come heal peoples hearts and His desire was to spend eternity with them, not just correct their behavior so they don't sin. It was awesome!! I was so encouraged that what we were doing is making a difference.

Airlie Beach

Hello there, sorry about taking forever to update!! So last week I went on a 16 hour road trip (not including the stops and such) to Airlie Beach. Its this Beautiful location right on the ocean and a group of about 20 people from my DTS went there to help with schoolies. Schoolies is a big party after the Australians graduate High school. Its a big celebration put on by the government that not only involves theme parties and loud music but also drinking, drugs, abuse, and even deaths. During these weeks of partying students get into about everything imaginable. My team went into this environment with the intention of simply loving these young people and showing them we cared. We set up what was called the chai tent. it was a big tent, and inside we set up little tables with pillows around them and we served free slushies and chai tea. a lovely little update :)

Hey there, So after the week in Airlie there was a week on Spiritual Warfare and then a week of Father Heart of God. Both weeks were amazing!!! Spiritual warfare is something I really didn't know much about and it is something I have a bit of a hard time understanding, but it is very real and so powerful. We have so much authority against Satin and it goes unrecognized and that isn't good. Father Heart of God week made me really begin to appreciate my dad, and the rest of my family, and also it gave me a clearer perspective in seeing God as my father and daddy. Then a very cool guy named Mark Parker from New Zealand came and helped us really surrender ourselves to God and the Holy Spirit. He spoke all week on Lordship. Then Friday we began at 8:30 in the morning and all together experienced an amazing transformation till 2:30ish in the morning on Saturday. We went through different steps as a school and did different things like giving thanks, worshiping, giving burnt offeri

3 Weeks to Go!!

Greeting from Michigan!! I have 3 weeks to go until I am required to be in Pemba, Mozambique! I have no idea what to think or feel, but I am definitely excited and also facing a lot of the unknown. I miss being in the ywam Gold Coast community very much, but i know that God has a plan bigger and better then mine. So I am proclaiming in Faith that I will be in Africa in a few weeks! As of right now I do not have enough funds to get flights or apply for a visa, but God is providing in different ways and I hope to have flights by the end of the week and a my visa application in the mail.
